Hello. I just downloaded BE Community Edition.  I extracted everything to my subdomain's home path, not subfolder. When I try to access the page I am not presented with an installation.

I checked the files and I don't see an install.php or any install folder.... What am I missing?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Can you add the screenshot link again as it does allow public viewing of it. Thanks!

There is no install.php needed with BuilderEngine, and follows the Codeigniter Framework for installing the system.

    Hello!
I downloaded the Community Edition version: v1.0.7.
When I try to install, I get an error: The requested URL / admin / install / index was not found on this server.
Not enough in the archive folder "install"
I ask to give help in error elimination.
      With respect Vadim!

    Hello! Thank you for your reply. My question was solved by replacing the line in the .htaccess file - RewriteRule ^ (. *) $ Index.php / $ 1 with RewriteRule ^ (. *) $ /Index.php? [L, QSA]

But another problem arose - the recipient receives the text in the following form:

Can you please tell me how to change the encoding?
